Entry Requirement

While there are no formal prerequisites for enrolling in the ProQual Level 6 NVQ Diploma, Marshall Education will request that you complete a SkillScan self-assessment. This ensures that you are suitably prepared to successfully complete an NVQ.

Course Content

To attain the ProQual Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Health & Safety Practice, you are required to complete the following 10 mandatory units:

• Promoting a positive health and safety culture.
• Developing and implementing health and safety policies.
• Establishing effective communication systems for health and safety information.
• Cultivating and sustaining individual organizational competence in health and safety matters.
• Identifying, assessing, and controlling health and safety risks.
• Implementing proactive monitoring systems for health and safety.
• Implementing reactive monitoring systems for health and safety.
• Establishing health and safety emergency response systems and procedures.
• Developing and implementing health and safety review systems.
• Maintaining awareness of improvements to influence health and safety practices.

Assessment

For each unit, you are tasked with constructing a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates your fulfillment of the unit’s assessment criteria. This evidence must be original work and typically includes documents, videos, photographs, witness statements, and more. Once submitted to your online portfolio, your assessor will evaluate and assess the evidence. Your Level 6 NVQ qualification will be awarded upon successful completion of all units, with the evidence reviewed by an assessor and internal verifier.
